Dal Lentil Soup Vegan

Protein rich, nutritious Indian style dal soup.
Lentil Soup is a staple in most Indian homes. Serve with rice for a balanced meal together with one or two green vegetables.
Directions: Empty pack into 6 cups of water and bring to boil. Cook on medium flame for 30 minutes until dal is cooked. Season to taste. Add lemon juice and fresh coriander leaves as garnish and enjoy.
Variations: Add cubed boiled potatoes, parboiled carrots, cauliflower, or green beans to soup mix while cooking.
